Local artist Joanna Rose Tidey will be present to discuss her work and collaborate on a mural, and she’ll be going on to create art installations inspired by the winning photos.
Visitors can also sponsor a colourful butterfly and enjoy refreshments for a small donation.
There will also be a jumble sale featuring furniture, bric-a-brac, and books to support the station friends.
And a mosaic group will showcase their recent work and introduce attendees to the community mosaic project.
The community event takes place from 10am until 12pm at the station, where, as reported, the friends group has recently taken over the running of a station building, which it’s transforming into a community space.
