Amateur theatre company Maskers is currently bringing Charlotte Brontë's 1847 classic Jane Eyre to life in an open-air production in the grounds of Townhill Park House.

Running from July 18 to 22, it portrays the journey of a woman in search of equality, independence, and freedom.
The gardens, restored by The Friends of Townhill Park House Gardens and originally designed by Gertrude Jekyll, provide the backdrop to performances.
