Triangle Caribbean food outlet Soca Shack says it’s now going for a September opening after various delays.

Signage advertising the business originally appeared on the former Il Picchio cafe premises, on Manor Farm Road at the corner of Bond Road, around October 2022.

But as reported, the business later said it had suffered “set back after set back” – notably organising a suitable gas supply to the premises – and was then hoping to open in mid June.

However on Tuesday (Aug 15), Marvin from the team told bitternepark.info that the business is now looking at an opening date of September 8 – and a glimpse inside the premises and recent activity there suggests they’re well on the way to bringing their taste of the Caribbean to the Triangle
