The last ‘Over the Garden Fence’ event of the year takes place on the upcoming bank holiday weekend, on Sunday, August 27 from 11am-2pm, offering the chance to declutter, find a bargain and enjoy a neighbourly natter in St Denys.

What’s become something of a local tradition provides a unique opportunity for people to come together, mingle with neighbours, and give away or sell unwanted item from stalls outside their houses.

But organisers are unsure whether the events will continue next summer and say more help is needed to coordinate the event.
