Festive fun and fundraising promised at Christmas in the Triangle

 Saturday Dec 16  Updated Plans have been unveiled for December’s ‘Christmas in the Triangle’ event.

Organised by ‘Bitterne park family fun’, which says it’s “a group of families that love fun, friendship and community”, this year it will be raising funds for local mental health charity Solent Mind.

A raft of attractions is promised for the usually well supported event.

Says the organisers’ social media post:

“There will be something for all the family; Father Christmas, Ukulele band, Carol singing, children's crafts, raffle, craft stalls, food and drink from our local cafes and goods from our local businesses.”

Reffle tickets are 25p, or £1 for a strip, with prizes advertised on the event Facebook page as:

Red Funnel Ferries: return car trip – up to 7 people to the IOW.
£150 Little Hair Company
£96 worth of Theatre tickets, the Attic – Totton.
£35 worth of Theatre tickets, The Berry Theatre, Hedge End.
£50 towards Tattoo - The Stolen Magpie (Portswood)
Voucher to use at Nails 28
3 hours free venue hire of the Old Chemist
Voucher for yoga @ the Old Chemist
Traybake or 12 cupcakes from Jen’s Cosmic Bakes
Hampers from Plested Pies & Bit Map bureau & other prizes from local businesses

The event is billed to take place at Bitterne Park Triangle from 1-3pm on Saturday, December 16.
