Woman charged with attempted murder following incident near Cobden Bridge

This from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary in their own words:

We were called at 3.38pm following reports that a woman had entered the water near Cobden Bridge with two young children.

Emergency services attended the scene and all three people were recovered and received treatment.

Rhonda Micetich, 31, from Argyle Road, Southampton, has been charged with two counts of attempt murder.

She appeared at Southampton Magistrates Court today (4 November) and was remanded into custody.

Micetich is due to appear at Southampton Crown Court on Friday 1 December.
