Police appeal following St Denys shop burglary

Police were alerted at 7.20am.

A Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary spokesperson said:

“We were called at 7.20am on 18 December to a report of a burglary at the  Best One [former Premier store] on St Denys Road.

“It was reported three males entered the store and stole the till containing cash.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”

Updated 21/12/23 police later said it "looks like it was the Premier store" which is next door to Best One, and also offers a post office counter.
