Bitterne Park Growing Places is gearing up for a blooming event for novice and seasoned gardeners to swap seeds and exchange stories

The seed swap, which aims to foster local food production and sharing, takes place at The Old Chemist on Saturday, March 16 from 10am to 2pm.
A diverse array of seeds, including vegetables, herbs, and flowers, as well as small plants, can be exchanged.
Participants are encouraged to bring packaged and labelled seeds to exchange, or make a small donation if they don't have seeds to share.
Refreshments will be provided, and kids can come too and get their faces painted.
Growing Places is a Transition Southampton project, with funding from Transition Towns.
