Organisers of ‘All Aboard’, the watery festival that takes place on and around our stretch of the Itchen, have announced the date for the sixth annual shenanigans.

Now a regular summer fixture, All Aboard brings together all kinds of people for “musical, poetic, theatrical, colourful, unusual and unpredictable” ‘happenings’.
The date for theatrical, musical, environmental, splishy-splashiness on and next to your river near Cobden Bridge is Saturday, June 15 from 2-7pm.
Just think what you could create in time if you start the papier-mâché, woodworking, sculpting, painting, boatbuilding, drama production, musical instrument crafting, storytelling prop-making, fabric art, metalworking, glassblowing, ceramics, puppetry, floral arrangements, costume design, set decoration, video making…. about now.
Or you may prefer to simply observe the mayhem on the day!
You can stay in touch with the event on Facebook or at allaboardfest.co.uk
And you can hear our interview with two of the organisers in the run-up to last year’s event, and last year’s promotional song, from this link.
