Operator Awaaz FM has announced that during March it will open on the same days and times as February – Wednesdays 1-5pm – while April will see it open on more days of the week.
And there are also hopes for a Saturday service.
Awaaz project manager Ali Beg told bitternepark.info: “Awaaz and Fiesta FM have been working hard behind the scenes to try and get things up and running as smoothly and quickly as possible.
“Inevitably there may be some sticky points but we are getting through this as quickly as we can. The good news is that the library will remain open throughout March every Wednesday between 1pm – 5pm. Following this, the library will open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 1pm – 5pm.
“Our vision for the future is to hopefully have a Saturday service for the library too but that is still in the pipeline. We have a great team of volunteers but are always looking for more so if you would like to volunteer for this important and exciting role please do get in touch with us. Just pop into the library and leave your details and we will get back to you.”
The library isn't open on bank holidays.
