SOS Presents, formerly known as Southampton Operatic Society, was established in 1924, and has performed shows at venues including the Guildhall, the Mayflower, and The Nuffield, and has now adopted MAST Mayflower studios as its theatrical home.
Show director Sophie Barnard said: “Guys And Dolls is one of the best-loved romantic comedies from the Golden Age of Broadway Musicals. It’s a show that never goes out of style and we can’t wait to put our own creative spin on it.”
But SOS has also said that the current cost of living crisis has hit amateur theatre hard, so the society is keen to attract a local business sponsor. Any interested firm can contact the group by email.
Meanwhile tickets for Guys And Dolls, which runs from July 10-13, are now on sale from the box office.
