Mothers Rebellion ‘refuses to look away’ from climate crisis

Organised by Parents for Future Hampshire and Extinction Rebellion Southampton, it also highlighted African Freedom Day and demanded climate justice.

Southampton mother Christabel joined in solidarity for her one-year-old son and the planet's future, saying: “I refuse to look away, I refuse to give up on us and I will do everything I can for the lives and future of our children”.

Izzy, another mother, spoke out to help to protect those with least responsibility for creating climate breakdown, such as children.
