Fellow panellists on Sunday’s programme (May 26) were Jessica Toale, Labour general election candidate for Bournemouth West, Vix Lowthion, Green Party candidate for Isle of Wight East and Danny Chambers, the Lib Dem’s Winchester candidate.
The NHS, food and agriculture, and Brexit were among topics discussed.
Following the programme Yankson, who’s currently a London borough councillor, said: “It was a pleasure to appear on BBC Politics South today and discuss the issues that are important to residents across Southampton Itchen.
“On the doors, people are clear with me they want to see a better performing NHS, a brighter economic outlook and more opportunities for those out of work – all things the Conservative
government has been delivering.”
The programme’s available for 30 days from transmission date on iPlayer.
