The Summer Reading Challenge is the UK’s biggest reading for pleasure programme for children, says charity The Reading Agency, and helps get approximately 700,000 children into libraries each year.

Volunteers in Southampton aged 14 to 24 can assist from July 6 to August 31, helping children discuss their books, handing out rewards, and supporting summer activities.
