Families
visiting Bitterne Library in Southampton this Easter holiday will be
transported back in time to the age of the ancient Egyptians.
Staff have teamed up with the museum service to give library users
the chance to handle artefacts, try on Egyptian costumes, make masks
and jewellery, as well as enjoying history books on this magical era.
This special event, which takes place between 10 am and 12 noon on
Monday April 10, is open to all age ranges and is free of charge.
For more information contact the library in Bitterne Road East on 023 8044 9909.
