The Friends of Portswood Library will be looking back at their ten-year history at a celebration in August.

There will also be a slide show to illustrate the voluntary group’s achievements.
Chair of the Friends, David Wardell, pictured left, said:
“When the Friends of Portswood Library was formed, the Library was under threat of closure.
"I'm delighted to say that ten years later, and with our help, we're still here and Portswood Library remains a thriving and much loved community asset".
The celebration, featuring cake and coffee, is at the library on Saturday, August 3 from 10.30am – 12.30pm.
