Update 30/8/24 SCC says work complete early so no closures following week
Traffic was heavy in Bitterne Park and westbound towards Thomas Lewis Way on Tuesday morning (August 27), with queues stretching back to Bullar Road. This congestion coincided with the scheduled closure of Woodmill for urgent repairs.

The road is expected to remain closed until Friday, August 30, reopen for the weekend, and then close again until Wednesday, September 4.

Update 30/8/24: SCC has posted that work complete ahead of schedule so no closures the following week as expected.
