The Southampton Toy Appeal is back for its 36th year, aiming to bring festive joy to vulnerable children and struggling families across the city.

Officially launched at Westquay by council leaders, the appeal calls for donations of new, unwrapped gifts for children from birth to 18. “If you can spare a small extra gift while shopping ... it can make all the difference,” said Cllr Alex Winning.
Drop-off points include Westquay (Level 3), Civic Centre reception (Mon-Fri), and Bitterne and Portswood libraries (Mon-Sat). All locations will accept donations until December 20.
With over 70 organisations involved and an increased need for gifts for teens, especially boys aged 12-18, every donation helps ensure no child feels forgotten this Christmas.
Full details of drop-off points with a list of suggested gift ideas are on the council’s website.
