Applications are now open for the 2025/26 round of SWR’s CCIF, which funds initiatives addressing social needs or benefiting communities across its network, spanning Berkshire, Devon, Dorset, Greater London, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Somerset, Surrey, and Wiltshire.

Grants are judged on criteria such as community impact, feasibility, and alignment with SWR’s charitable policy. Match funding is not required but is considered.

Over £7 million has been awarded to more than 100 projects since 2018. In the latest round,

Oasis Hub Mayfield received £19,200 to fund a mobile Youth Outreach Van targeting young people at risk of antisocial behaviour or suicide around the train stations in Sholing, Woolston, and Bitterne.

The deadline for applications is Sunday, 31 December 2024. Further details can be found on the SWR CCIF webpage.
