An announcement this week said the partnership aims to create a vibrant, year-round destination, benefiting residents, visitors, and the wider community.

The MoU could mark a game changer for both the football club and the city, with key goals including expanding St Mary’s Stadium, improving transport links, and developing a mixed-use community of residential, commercial, and leisure spaces.

Both parties say they aim to boost economic potential, promote sustainability, and improve accessibility while attracting new visitors and creating opportunities for local people.
