Contractor Balfour Beatty says there will be temporary signals in operation 24/7 over the period, with phased footway closures ensuring pedestrian access and safe crossing points.

“Glenfield Avenue - will have a road closure at its junction with Mousehole Lane for the entirety of remedials works, this is to help create a welfare, storage and safety zone for our team whilst we carry out works in the area,” adds BB.

A sign at the junction with Glenfield says the road will be “closed here” for one week from Jan 27.
