The works will require overnight road closures between 8pm and 6am.
On February 10, 11, and 12, the westbound carriageway will be closed between Rampart Road and Princes Street, with traffic still able to travel eastbound. On February 13 and 14, the eastbound carriageway will be closed between Union Road and Englefield Road.
A signed diversion will be in place via Cobden Bridge, though pedestrian access to Northam Bridge will be maintained.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys.
As reported, police recently launched an appeal for witnesses and footage after a new speed camera on the bridge was vandalised and cut down shortly after being installed.
