Yarrow Heights on Cobden Avenue applied for prior approval to demolish 104-106 Cobden Avenue, buildings “vacant for many years” according to the application.

Demolition work could be completed by the end of June, and part of the condition for approval limits works to 8am – 6pm on weekdays and from 9am – 1pm on Saturdays.

As reported, the removal will improve access for a forthcoming building to the south of the site, and plans for a new teaching building are anticipated in due course.
