The trail around local homes, run by Bitterne Park Growing Places, offers residents a way to share seeds and plants.

Says the event page on Facebook: “Follow along the trail... to find plants and seeds grown and shared by some absolutely love people! Bittern Park Growing Places is pleased to bring the trail back for another year of horticultural community caring and sharing!“

You can find a trail map here.

The project was set up by Transition Southampton to encourage people to grow and share food locally. It aims to help connect people to share seeds, plants, growing advice and surplus food.
