Selected Triangle traders will stay open late, and the usual halloween parade for youngsters (under 10s) accompanied by their parents is expected to take place on Monday, October 31 leaving from Bitterne Park Triangle at around 5.30pm.
The dress code is strictly scary, and those that wish can return for a hog roast outside Garson's.
In previous years those parading have brought flasks of soup and ideas for games in the dark. No trick or treating is involved.
