Police are appealing for information after it was reported that a man was threatening people with a knife in the Bevois Valley/Empress Road area on Sunday.

It reportedly happened near Aldi on Bevois Valley Road.
Police said in a statement: “At 12.48pm this afternoon (Sunday, August 3) police were called to Empress Road after it was reported a man was threatening people with a knife.
“Three people sustained injuries – none are thought to be seriously injured.
“We have begun an investigation and would like to speak to anyone who saw or recorded what happened.”
Police said a man had been arrested.
