Police have launched a witness appeal following a collision involving a car and a person riding a rented e-scooter on Thomas Lewis Way (TLW) just before midday on Saturday (Sept 6).

The scooter rider was taken to hospital to receive treatment for an arm injury.
The incident closed TLW northbound for a period between St Denys Road and Portswood Road while emergency services attended, although it’s since been reopened.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or with any dashcam footage which could help their enquiries, to contact 101 quoting 44250403728, or to submit information online.
