The day will run in two parts: a Saturday morning cinema and afternoon taster workshops from 9.30am to 4pm, followed by live music in the evening from 7pm, with refreshments provided by the Butcher’s Hook.
The event is free, with a “pay what you can” option, but booking is required.
The building, run by Oasis Church, is undergoing a major transformation including new windows, floors, a replaced roof, and a reconfigured community space.
As reported, funding for most of the work came from the Community Ownership Fund, part of the previous government’s “levelling up” programme.
Community development manager Peter Thompson previously said the renovations have created a larger, lighter, and more flexible space designed to welcome a wide range of community activities.
