Southampton City Council is asking residents to share their views on how local services should be funded and prioritised as it prepares its 2026/27 budget.

A new survey invites people to rank the importance of key services - from adult and children’s support to waste, housing, parks and libraries - and to give feedback on possible savings, income ideas and ways to improve efficiency.
The council says the results will help shape spending plans in a challenging financial climate, despite recent progress towards stability.
The budget is due to be set on February 25, 2026.
