Fires & Fascism, a documentary examining the increasing number and intensity of wildfires across Europe and the links it draws to climate change, corruption and far-right politics, is to be screened at October Books.

The film features drone footage, and the experiences and actions of 25 people from Greece, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, including scientists, teachers, artists, gardeners, engineers, winemakers, NGOs, and authors.
The crowdfunded film is directed by Dr Pete Knapp, who started production after completing a PhD on indoor air pollution.
Knapp will be present for a Q&A following the presentation.
