Although it looks like there will be no sanctioned ‘dipping’ due to water quality concerns, stand by for “beautiful acoustic, joyful folk, incredible classical pieces, folk punk - all rounded off with a joyful singsong with Southampton Uke Jam”, from 10 am to 4 pm.
Watch out also for an art workshop by artist Gemma Gore, hosted by Southampton River Rights, “to create a collaborative love letter to the River Itchen”: “Using geological paint share your love for our local chalk stream, and anger for how it’s mistreated”, invites the blurb.
