The sun shone down on St Denys on Saturday, as pirates, parrots and all manner of person-powered floats wound through the streets and back to the community centre, where music, food, drink and stalls came together in a celebration of community spirit that flowed through the day. Local pubs were busy and various venues joined in by hosting live music into the evening.
