Firefighters were called to a vehicle fire off Kent Road in St Denys shortly after 3:30pm on Monday (July 6).

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said it involved three vehicles and spread to a nearby hedgerow and trees. Crews extinguished the fire using hose reel jets before making the scene safe.

Firefighters returned to their stations following the stop message, which was issued at 4:20pm.
