Updated: The annual charity duck race from Mansbridge to Woodmill is gearing up for its return, with tickets now on sale after an earlier appeal for sponsors helped secure the event's traditional £250 first prize.

Eastleigh Lions Club has announced a range of prizes for this year's race, including cash prizes, experiences, meals and donated gifts from local businesses.
Tickets cost £2 and will be on sale every Saturday and Sunday throughout August from 11am to 3pm in Riverside Park, opposite the Woodmill landing stage. Card payments will be accepted
In a new move this year, tickets will also be on sale at Woodmill Coffee Kitchen, meaning they will be available every day until the bank holiday race during opening hours..

The race, featuring 2,500 numbered ducks travelling along the Itchen Navigation, takes place on Bank Holiday Monday, August 31, with proceeds supporting local charitable causes.
