Signs warn of a 24-hour road closure for “footway resurfacing” for up to eight weeks on a busy local road starting in September.

The closure appears to be coming up on West End Road, from its junction with Chalk Hill to that with Moorhill Road (A27).
Electronic signs at either end of the stretch say the work starts from September 8 “for up to eight weeks”, and advise people to follow a diversion.
Roadworks-tracking site one.network suggests work could take place from September 7 to November 2, and details a “road closure” for “footway reconstruction” between 7.30am and 6pm with 24/7 traffic management in place.
