Bitterne Park bar Comptons has announced that it is an official sponsor of Southampton Pride 2026, which takes place over the August bank holiday weekend.

The venue said on Instagram that one of its owners will volunteer behind the bar at Pride, while its resident drag performer Aura is part of the team organising the event.
Comptons will also hold its own Pride celebrations at the Bitterne Park venue, with a pre-Pride event on Friday, Aug 28 from 4pm to 11pm and celebrations continuing on Saturday, Aug 29 from noon to 11pm.
The main Pride event kicks off with a march at 11am on Saturday (Aug 29), from Queens Park, travelling through the city centre before arriving at Guildhall Square. Main Stage entertainment runs from noon to 10pm on both Saturday and Sunday, with music, drag, DJs and community performances.
