There’s a second public meeting on Monday, Jan 16 to discuss how Deep Dene “can best be maintained and improved”, to develop a management plan, and possibly to set up a ‘Friends of’ group.
A draft “Deep Dene Management Plan” is available to download from the council’s website from this page (pdf). The page says the council is “working in partnership with Bitterne Park Residents Group to improve this area”.

The meeting takes place on Monday, January 16 at 7pm in the Hampton room at the Church of the Ascension, 1 Thorold Road, SO18 1HZ.
