Detectives are investigating the shooting of a 27-year-old man, around the Vanguard Road area in Townhill Park, at around 7.15pm on Sunday, February 19. They say they think it was an isolated incident.

The injured man remains in hospital where he is receiving treatment for injuries to his legs, which police say are not life threatening.
One man was arrested on Sunday, and two others, including a 15-year-old local boy and a man from London, have also now been arrested.
“We would appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity of Vanguard Road at that time, immediately before, or immediately afterwards, to contact us without delay, as they may have seen or heard something that could be important to our enquiries,” said a spokesperson.
