Masked robbers raid Oaktree Road Londis

Police are appealing for witnesses after four men wearing balaclavas forced the door into the Londis store in Oaktree Road at around 11.15pm on February 6.

They stole a quantity of cigarettes and made off in a white car.

Two other incidents earlier on the same evening involved people wearing balaclavas: one took place just after 9.30pm in Northleigh Corner, Mansbridge, when at least two men thought to be wearing balaclavas tried to get in through the door of a flat and demanded a watch.

The next happened shortly before 10pm in the communal area of some flats in Kingsdown Way, where there were reports of four men wearing balaclavas acting suspiciously. Police attended but the men weren’t found.

Anyone with information is asked to call Bitterne CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
