Hobbit hits national headlines

Hobbit billThe Hobbit pub has now hit the BBC's national headlines over possible legal action with Hollywood over its name.  The story is also featured in the Daily Mail, The Sun and the Scottish Daily Record and others. The BBC says the pub in Portswood has traded with the name for more than 20 years. Landlady Stella Mary Roberts is quoted saying: "I can't fight Hollywood." A 'campaign' to 'Save the Hobbit' is on Facebook here - currently 'liked' by over 14000 people - and counting.

"What planet are these people on...oh, planet hollywood!" says Anthony Hill on Facebook.
