Listen again: At home with The Spiraltones

spiraltones_jo_daviesIf you fancy some lovely summery tunes and a little verse, then click the ‘read more’ link to find the audio players, and listen again to our last show, which went out live in May, featuring local bands The Spiraltones (pictured), 猫老師 (Neko Roshi) and Old Culture, and poet Matthew West. Here’s our recording of our live podcast from May 22, proudly presented by bitternepark.info, portswood.info and Sofa City Bands Collective, and now kindly re-mixed for us by Adam and Jim - and thankfully minus the two internet connection interruptions we suffered during the live transmissioin this time.

We’d like to say a huge thanks to everyone who performed, helped with the technical side and who otherwise supported what was a fairly ambitious programme – and of course everyone who tuned in, and participated by sending messages via social media.

mixingJust use the audio player below to hear the complete programme – and if you like it don’t feel you can’t share on FaceBook/Twitter! (If you’d like to hear the talky bit about Environmental Rock again, which went out before the live performances, that’s now available from this link. Oh go on – give it a listen: you know you want to.)

We strongly recommend you consider plugging your computer into your stereo to vastly improve the sound quality. This cable might do it. Or spend a bit more on this... (Other cables are available - although we had most of them at Castle Spiraltone for this podcast.)

These recordings may contain instances of 'strong language', so please don’t listen if offended.

Scroll down this page for more pictures from the evening.

2/5/21 Sorry: none of this audio is currently available for streaming or download. We're working on bringing it back! Ed.
