"Human spirit cannot be contained"

'Waterlitz', now on Sunday June 17, promises to be a unique and spectacular outdoor event which takes street theatre to a new level. It involves a seven-storey 60-foot giant foot "humanoid tower" built from containers, and combines aerial acrobatics, dance, music, projection, and pyrotechnics. "The Générik Vapeur company will take you on a journey to show you how the human spirit cannot be contained," we're told.

Starts after dark at 10pm in Mayflower Park, with entertainment starting from 8pm. Car access to the park is restricted but parking is available at Leisure World, The Quays  or West Quay.
