Popular author visits Bitterne Library

Family saga writer Annie Murray will be visiting Bitterne Library in Southampton this week to talk about her newest novel.

Originally from Birmingham but now living in Reading, Annie specialises in historical stories about fictional families living in her home city.

Southampton Libraries, part of Southampton City Council, has invited Annie to speak about her latest title, Family of Women. It is set in post-war Birmingham and has received rave reviews. Annie has also written Birmingham Blitz, Chocolate Girls and Miss Purdy`s Class.

The event at the library in Bitterne Road East is free of charge and takes place at 2.30pm on Thursday May 11. There will also be free refreshments.
