There’s expected to be a discussion about airport expansion on Radio Solent on Tuesday July 18, shortly after 7am. Mary Finch, Chair of the Airport Pressure Group, and Southampton Airport Managing Director Chris Butler are expected to take part. We are unsure whether there will be phone-in opportunities.
The interview we had pointed to with Mary Finch for some reason didn’t take place last week, during Solent’s lengthy live breakfast show broadcast from the airport.

ˇ Apparently the alarmingly loud aircraft, which disturbed the peace over Bitterne Park on Sunday July 16, was a US bomber, making its round-about way from Fairford Airshow near Cricklade, back to Farnborough.
