The Whitworth Crescent burglary took place between 1.30 and 3.30pm. Electrical items and jewellery were taken.

And jewellery and cash are believed to have been taken at around 3.45pm at an Athelstan Road property. A member of the public reported seeing four men trying to get into the garden of a house. Police say they were swiftly on the scene, and found four men who ran off in different directions. Two men, aged 31 and 21, were arrested, but police are still hunting for the others.
