Bitterne Parkers prone to punctuality will be pleased to hear that the Triangle clock is operational again – although reports suggest it is running a few minutes slow.
The clock broke down in early February, causing Triangle time to be stuck for weeks at 12 o’clock. As previously revealed by bitternepark.info, six pigeons caused time chaos when they took up residence in the tower and laid eggs amongst the works.
Now it seems specialists have been able to clean up the mess and re-start the clock, in time for the new financial year – and the re-introduction of heritage clock tower tours due to start in June. (Weren’t the tours a joke? Ed.)
