End of the line for Triangle fruit & veg shop

manor farm aug 2013It appears there's been another about turn at Triangle fruit and veg shop Manor Farm: rather than opening seven days a week from August, as announced last month, the shop has now apparently closed for good as a greengrocer.

Owner Rob Martin had previously said he was going to close the shop as a greengrocer from June 22, while continuing with home deliveries and his Woolston fruit and veg shop. There was then a 're-decision' to continue for a further three months, and a poster then advertised an increase in opening hours.

But now it seems the shop - as a greengrocer's at least - has shut for good.

"Due to poor local support the shop had to close; we were not even covering the costs . But I would like to thank all the people that did support us. It's something we didn't want to do," said Mr Martin.
