The first task is apparently weeding the backyard and making a 'Books For Free' bookshelf for the community, as well as finding out what skills people can offer and what help they need, says Transition Southampton's Clare Diaper.
And it's hoped the Café could become a regular fixture.
"One Saturday it might be bike mending, another it might be clothes mending or carpentry."
"We'll also be eating cake and drinking tea! Transition Southampton are very lucky to have been offered space at the back of the shop (AKA The Shed!) to use as a community facility for FREE!"
