A trail of artists’ studios in Southampton and in Hampshire offers the chance to meet artists, view and purchase work, and take part in have-a-go sessions during August.

Join the Southampton Open Studios Trail (downloadable map) on Saturday and Sunday 17 & 18, and again on Saturday 24, which takes in Red Host Press, Tower House, unit11studios and the Arches Studios.

And look out for the annual Wayzgoose Fete on Sunday 25 at Red Hot Press, with stalls, demonstrations and have-a-go sessions.

Meanwhile you can go and find art around Hampshire on the Hampshire Open Studios which runs from August 17-26, in many cases in artists’ homes, offering the opportunity to view, chat and perhaps even buy.
