The team behind the Butcher’s Hook micro pub report that they’ve now been handed the keys to the Triangle premises, and hope to be pulling pints in a couple of months.
“We can’t wait to serve some great beer to the locals!” said Dan Richardson, who hopes the pub, which will be in the former Tiger Lily premises, will be up and running sometime around Christmas and New Year.
“The support has been amazing from everyone in the local community and the pressure is now on to get open and satisfy all the people who've shown such a keen interest.
Welcoming
“Our ambition is to be a community focused, inter-generational and high quality establishment. We look forward to welcoming anyone who's interested in trying new beers, enjoying some of their favourite local brews, or just socialising with their neighbours, in a diverse and welcoming environment.
“It's an incredibly exciting time for craft beer and real ale fans at the moment and we hope we reflect this great renaissance in British brewing on the doorsteps of Bitterne Park.”
